JOIN US FRIDAY MAY 10TH - NORTHRIDGE CAMPUS

Jog-A-Thon is our annual elementary fundraiser that helps support Tree of Life. This year our fundraising goal is $40,000. The proceeds from Jog-A-Thon impact the elementary campuses in a variety of ways. They directly help support our specialized areas, such as Music, Art, Technology, Spanish, Physical Education, S.T.E.M., American Sign Language, and elementary athletics, just to name a few. This fundraiser culminates on May 10 with a big carnival style day of fun (and jogging!) to thank our students for helping Tree of Life reach their goal of $40,000.

Gathering Donations

There are many ways to ask family and friends for donations: face-to-face, phone, email, and social media are just a few ideas. Please use the Sponsor Letter and Donation Log to help you collect your donations. Remember, all donations will be collected prior to the event.

Day of Jog-a-thon

TRACK DISTANCE: Students may either jog or walk the course (1 lap=1/5 mile), whatever they can comfortably accomplish in the allotted time.

CLOTHING: Students may wear T-shirts, pants, sweats, or modest shorts. Tennis shoes are required! Please pay attention to weather conditions and dress accordingly! If it is damp or drizzling, we may still run outside!

FOOD: An order form will be sent home for all students to order lunch. If a student will not be eating the prepared lunch, he/she should bring a disposable sack lunch. There will be food trucks (cash & credit) and a concession stand (cash only) for all our guests to enjoy.

VOLUNTEERING:We need and love volunteers!. Please contact Julie Myers, (jmyers@tolcs.org or 614-784-2795), if you’d like to volunteer for the event.

RAIN SCHEDULE:In the case of inclement weather preventing outdoor activities, you will receive an email with the revised schedule. This information will also be available right here online.

Transportation

All buses will be picking the students up at 3:30 pm at the Northridge Campus. If your child does not ride a bus, please make arrangements for your child to be picked up at 3:30pm at the Northridge Campus the day of Jog-A-Thon. (Preschool and Kindergarten students will finish between 1:00 and 1:30pm. No buses will be available for our Preschool and Kindergarten.)

PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE THIS YEAR. YOU MUST ADHERE TO THE PICK UP TIMES ABOVE.
