GATHERING DONATIONS

This year, we are asking that all donations be made online. When you give to Tree of Life, you are supporting a school, a mission, and a ministry. This is a great way to partner with our faculty and staff to provide all of the necessary resources to help our students grow spiritually, academically, physically and socially in a loving, Christ-filled environment.

1

Create a fundraising page.

We are excited to offer a helpful tool that will make getting your Jog-A-Thon donations even easier!  Once again this year, you can help your student create a Peer-to-Peer fundraising page!  It’s super easy to do.  There are many benefits to creating a fundraising page.  You and your student will be able to add your individual personality to create a unique page only for your student.

By creating your own page you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Tell people why you love being part of the Tree of Life community
  • See “real time” donations
  • See who is donating and see live updates of your fundraising totals

Just watch this short tutorial video to learn how to get started! Remember to give your page a title starting with your campus name (i.e. Polaris – John Smith)

*While not mandatory, creating a fundraising page is preferred because of the effectiveness and benefits it provides.

2

Share with family and friends.

Be sure to share about Jog-A-Thon with all your family and friends! Sharing the donation link by texts, emails, and parent social media accounts are all great ways to connect with them about Jog-A-Thon. Be sure to let them know what you love about your school and what your fundraising goal is.

3

Reach your goal. Raise $175+ for your campus.

This can be done by your family and friends visiting your unique and secure fundraising page link (recommended) or if need be, the general donation link on our website. Funds can be raised by all students at each campus until 12p NOON on Thursday, May 9th. Totals used in calculating prizes will be used at this time, with the exception of dunk tank eligibility for our Dublin and Polaris campuses. Dunk tank eligibility for those two campuses will be determined at 12p NOON the day before each of those campus’ events.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Students may wear non-uniform, modest, and weather appropriate apparel that can get messy.  Tennis shoes are required.  Please pay attention to weather conditions and dress accordingly.

Yes. Every student who attends their campus event celebration will receive a complimentary lunch. Please only let your campus know (by Monday, April 29th) if your child will not be attending, or if they need a GF option.  Otherwise, we will assume to purchase a regular kid’s meal for your student.

The lunch will still be provided on originally schedule day, even if your campus moves to the rain date.

In case of inclement weather on your scheduled event day, please watch your email and texts early that morning to see if we decide to move event day to the scheduled rain date.

Rain Dates:

  • Polaris – May 13
  • Dublin- May 15
  • Clintonville – May 17

Lunch will still be provided on originally scheduled day, even if your campus moves to the rain date.

We love and need parent volunteers at each campus! Please contact your campus office for volunteer information.

Absolutely! Due to space and parking, parent attendance may be limited to the student running time. Please check with your individual campus office about specific spectator information.
