About Tree of Life
Tree of Life Christian Schools is nurturing, yet academically rigorous. We have created an environment that is intellectually robust without being institutionally rigid. Our deeply-rooted Christian philosophy of education empowers our partnership with parents in the spiritual, mental, social, and physical development of their children.
Our faculty and staff are united by a desire to see each student grow “in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and man.” We have designed our academic programs and curriculum to integrate God’s word and God’s perspectives into every class and every subject. Our goal is for each student to graduate equipped to lead and change the world around them. Our commitment to excellence is evident not only in our current classrooms, but in our ambitious plans for new, state-of-the-art facilities that will serve Tree of Life students for generations to come.
Each subject is taught from a distinctively Christian worldview. God’s word and character are integrated into every class. In addition to this, daily Bible classes and bimonthly chapel programs support the students’ spiritual growth. Students also have the opportunity to participate in class retreats, Bible studies, and service ministries.
LocationTree of Life Christian Schools is located in Columbus, Ohio – the 15th largest city in the United States. Our high school campus is less than 5 miles from The Ohio State University and less than 10 miles from the Columbus International Airport (CMH).
Growing Strong Academics
In Scripture we read of Samuel’s mother, Hannah, who petitioned God for a son, and then put that son, Samuel, under the nurture and discipline of Eli. The result was that “Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the Lord and with men.” (I Samuel 2:26). In this instance God shows us a successful partnership between Samuel’s parents and his teacher, Eli. Out of this cooperation grew a man who was a powerful messenger of God to the nation of Israel. At Tree of Life we believe that in such a partnership students will “grow in stature and favor with the Lord and with men”. Our vigorous academic training throughout the high school years prepares students for college and life. Tree of Life students are nurtured and challenged daily to a deeper spiritual walk.
